Dying On The Day My Ex Marries Episode 1. To repay Ruth Quimby's parents, Sean York breaks up with his girlfriend of seven years, Celine Scott. Soon after, Celine loses her parents in a tragic car accident and is diagnosed with leukemia. She gives up treatment and opts for euthanasia instead. Days before her death, she runs into Sean and Ruth.
