Sapphire in the Wasteland Episode 1. The sea witch princess Sira is captured by Kale, a general under the tyrant Malak, who intends to use her to find an endless water source. Along the way, the two turn from enemies to lovers. Sira reveals the truth that Malak, in his pursuit of immortality, annihilated the sea witch clan and sealed off the water source. Shattered in his beliefs, Kale joins forces with Sira in a rebellion.
